Welcome Lamar University Alumni! This is the place where you will find news, services, and events for all LU Alumni.

The Office of Alumni Affairs exists to keep all past and future graduates connected with Lamar University and to each other throughout their lifetime. Our mission is to actively engage alumni within the life of the university through communication and meaningful programming. Through increased engagement, alumni help Lamar University move forward and improve its position in the nation and throughout the world.

Alumni Affairs staff coordinate events and activities for alumni which include organization and class reunions, Golden Circle events for 50+ year graduates, alumni homecoming parties and pre-game receptions, social events, educational events, networking events, community service projects, and presentation of the annual Distinguished Alumni Awards. We also coordinate the Lamar University Ambassadors program, which is designed to provide a connection between Lamar University students and alumni, friends, and donors.

Lamar University has over 99,000 alumni living working in every field imaginable in 67 different countries, every state in the U.S., and every county in Texas.
